I thought it would be helpful to do a little explaining, for those of you who have purchased a Bathing Beauty Swim Suit for your Little Ladies, with Arrayed et Adorned in the past.
For those of you who are new, this is a little history of Arrayed et Adorned for you.
Over the past few years, I have been working away at the Bathing Beauty Swim Wear line. I have made everything, from pattern to suit, in my home with my hands.
This has been a difficult and rewarding process, with the goal of one day, turning the work of sewing over to a more able crew.
Last year I began the process of working with a production/manufacturing team, to get these suits to market this year. As you can imagine, this is an expensive endeavor. But the real cost comes to play, when I have others make my suits.
When I made the suits, your cost paid for all the items I had to buy to make the suit. And there was usually about $10 left for me when I was done. This, to me, is good business,
when first starting out, and working to show people, that you have a product worth buying. Not to mention, a lot of mistakes are made at first, and you all should not have to pay the big bucks to be guinea pigs.
So, the moral of the story is, I could get away with not paying myself to make suits for our lovely little ladies, but, of course, others won't have it. They need to be paid. : )
So I pay others to do a lot of work now, to free me to provide more suits, to more of you. As each year passes, I hope I will be able to provide for many different ranges of life. And if you can't afford a Bathing Beauty from Arrayed et Adorned, you might be inspired to make one of your own.
The price of the Bathing Beauty may fluctuate a little each season, depending on what I am charged. As the market fluctuates, so does everything else.
I will also have discounted suits for sale, which are suits, that, for what ever reason, did not get sewn up to the proper Arrayed et Adorned standard, or it is a practice suit for an upcoming line. I will have such suits for sale every so often, as I do right now at the
Arrayed et Adorned store on Etsy .
I am working on a suit the is one sided, which will cost a bit less. It will be for sizes 2/3-6/7. I may have some of these ready later in the summer. If not, look for them next season.
And I will also be working on the suits for our teenage girls. These are all fun things to look out for. Not to mention the ever so fun sale events, which will come up here and there.
So thank you for your love of the Bathing Beauty. I hope that Arrayed et Adorned will be a help to those of you wanting to teach your girls about the beauty of modesty.
Your humble worker,
Crystal
